The 24th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade will be held this coming Sunday, April 22nd. We hope that you will join us as we celebrate Greek Independence and our heritage! For those of you would like to join us at the parade route the parade begins at 1 PM--please meet us at the beginning of the parade route at 1 PM on Boylston Street Near Lord and Taylor.
From there the parade route will continue up Boylston Street to Charles Street and conclude at the Boston Common. On the Common there will be a celebration of Greek music, Greek traditional dances, and Greek food. The Parade Grand Marshals will be His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston; Honorable Mayor of Boston Martin Walsh.
As in years past we will have a bus which will be departing from Taxiarchae Church at Noon and to transport those who would like to march in the parade to the beginning of the Parade route. Our Greek School will also be marching and carrying flags and banners.
