Get to know other families in our community and Metropolis through the Metropolis Youth Basketball League! The main purpose of the Athletic Ministries offered by the Metropolis of Boston is to bring together Orthodox Christians athletes who can grow closer to Christ and each other by enjoying a healthy level of athletic competition.

What are JOY and goya?
JOY and GOYA are Church youth programs. Our basketball teams are part of that ministry and help to connect our youth and families with our sister churches in the Metropolis of Boston. Our JOY meetings are the 2nd Friday of every month, and our GOYA meetings are on the 3rd Friday of every month. We invite you to connect with your friends and teammates between games at these meetings!
How do i sign my child up to play for taxiarchae church?

What are the requirements to play in the Metropolis youth basketball league?
One must be a member in good-standing with the Church and an Orthodox Christian.
Where will games be played?
Junior JOY and JOY Basketball is held on Saturdays at either St. Demetrios Church in Weston or Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. See schedule for more details.
