Homework

All students are expected to complete the appropriate amount of homework as set out by the teacher. Homework requirements will be discussed at regularly scheduled parent-teacher interactions. If circumstances prevent a student from completing homework, a written explanation must be provided to the teacher by the parent(s)/guardian(s). If a student is absent homework will be emailed or text to the parents, and it needs to be completed.

Our Teachers

The teachers of the Greek Education in Watertown Taxiarchae/Archangels are highly qualified, caring individuals that share the school's belief that the most important years in a child's education are those in early childhood. It is during elementary school that the attitudes towards learning are formed and the foundation of basic skills and study habits are developed that allow future academic achievement. The philosophy of the Greek Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is to encourage its students to strive to achieve academic excellence and to allow them to mature socially, emotionally and spiritually in a loving and positive environment.
